Alte Oper Frankfurt – an international concert hall and congress centre for high-calibre events

Since it reopened as a concert hall and congress centre in August 1981, the Alte Oper has gained an outstanding reputation for hosting international concerts, balls and conferences. Behind the magnificent historical facade, the restoration of which was completed in spring 2011, you will find the latest conference equipment designed to cater to any requirement.

Event organisers from Germany and abroad recognise the venue's unique synthesis of stylish ambience and state-of-the-art technology – whether you are looking to stage a congress, AGM, anniversary celebration, award ceremony, gala evening, ball or TV event, the Alte Oper Frankfurt has what it takes to turn your event into a surefire success.

The Alte Oper Frankfurt is a member of the European Association of Event Centres (EVVC) and the German Convention Bureau (GCB).
The concert hall and congress centre was voted one of the best venues by German congress and conference organisers in the Conga Award's Event Location category, and was also recognised by the city of Frankfurt for its dedicated and successful cooperation in the ECO PROFIT corporate environmental project.
