The famous Flower Island of Mainau in Lake Constance is currently hosting the exhibition 'Teddy, Elephant & Co' until 12 February 2012. In the island's baroque palace across the water from Constance you can discover the captivating world created by Margarete Steiff – from the early days of Steiff in 1880 right up to the present day. But it's not just children whose eyes will light up when they see the famous felt elephant from 1888, the countless teddy bears and all the other dolls, playthings and cuddly toys.
