The Theatertreffen series, part of the Berliner Festspiele theatre festival, takes place from 4 to 21 May 2012 in Berlin. It features the ten most noteworthy theatre performances from the past year as selected by an independent jury comprising seven people. There are also lots of youth competitions for promoting new talent, giving audiences the chance to see new plays and the stars of tomorrow.
