Since Expo 2000, Hannover Zoo has been one of Germany's most fascinating theme parks, attracting more than 1.6 million enthusiastic visitors every year. Within just 15 years, Zoo Hannover GmbH's 'Zoo of the Future' World Exposition Project has revolutionised the European zoo concept, and a conventional municipal zoological gardens has evolved into the tourist landmark of Hannover. Discover more than 2,000 inhabitants in seven exciting and elaborately designed themed worlds: take a boat trip on the Zambezi river or visit an Indian jungle palace. Alternatively, you can explore the captivating Gorilla mountain, the Australian Outback, Meyers Farm in Lower Saxony or Helme Heine's Mollywoop children's land. Visitors can also enjoy up to 29 daily shows and feeding times, a range of cafés and restaurants, and see a host of baby animals. New attractions include Yukon Bay, a journey through the wilds of Canada featuring a river and a recreated landscape for polar bears. Hannover Zoo is the perfect destination for the whole family.
