Company Profile

The RDA International Coach Tourism Federation e.V. (founded in 1951) represents the interests of around 3,000 affiliated companies from over 70 branches in more than 40 countries.

Tasks and objectives
Leading coach tour operators and their trade partners benefit from RDA’s active lobbying, innovation and service network. It also organizes the RDA workshop, Europe's largest trade fair for coach tourism.

The RDA has regular liaison and intense co-operation with allied European federations, sister associations and other opinion leaders.

RDA members save considerable business costs by availing of RDA member services, industry know-how, business networking, international contacts and access to specialist knowledge in the fields of marketing, research, development, sales, purchasing, EU initiatives, climate protection, fiscal, legal and insurance issues.

Information on Coach Travel
There are some 4,000 coach companies in Germany, most of which provide local and commuter services, hire coaches for excursions and occasionally act as sub-contractors to tour operators. Approximately 1,000 coach operators regularly organise package tours throughout most of Europe and some operators also organise tours to non-European destinations. Coaches in Germany are built to the highest standard in terms of technology, comfort and safety.
