When people think of Weimar Classicism, they tend to think of the literary works of Goethe, Schiller, Herder and Wieland. The 'Weimar Classicism. Culture of Sensuality' exhibition at the Schiller Museum in Weimar looks at this era from a different perspective, however. Until 10 June 2012, it presents Classical Weimar through the prism of three cultural practices – living, collecting and writing – using artistic, natural and everyday objects.
