On 12 January 2013, during the CMT travel fair in Stuttgart, the President of the German Ramblers' Association Dr Hans-Ulrich Rauchfuß is accrediting seven hiking trails with the Qualitätswanderweg Deutschland quality seal. The certified routes fulfil a range of criteria designed to meet the needs of walkers.
