The town of Weinstadt in the Rems valley near Stuttgart is celebrating its wine festival from 27 April to 1 May 2012, as regional vintners and restaurateurs invite locals and visitors to the 'wine village' on the historical market square. The food and drink on offer ranges from Swabian specialities such as rostbraten and the signature trollinger wine from the Württemberg wine region to racy rieslings, sekt and fresh prawns.
