The Palmengarten Botanical Gardens in Frankfurt am Main are extending their popular Winterlicht exhibition until 27 January 2013. Light artist Wolfgang Flammersfeld has transformed the Palmengarten into a glowing wintry scene. Set back from the hubbub of the city centre hundreds of lights illuminate the park's trees and shrubs when darkness falls.
