Walking and good food go hand in hand on the quality-certified Goldsteig Trail. Seventeen hotels along the 660km route – one of the longest premium walking trails in Germany – have joined forces to form the Goldsteig Ge(h)nuss association. Located in the Upper Palatinate, they offer luggage transfers, cultural breaks and a hearty walker's breakfast made from regional produce.
