The worlds of fine food and industrial heritage meet at the Gourmet Mile in the Ruhr region. This culinary event is now taking place for the third time at the UNESCO World Heritage Zollverein mine after debuting in 2010 for the Ruhr's year as European Capital of Culture. Until 26 August 2012 seventeen restaurants from five Ruhr towns are delighting food-loving visitors from near and far.
