Moselle Wine Festival in Traben-Trarbach

The UNESCO World Heritage monuments in Trier bear witness to the day-to-day lives of the Romans, who cultivated grapes and held wine festivals here along the Moselle over 2,000 years ago. This tradition is still alive and well in 2012, with Traben-Trarbach hosting the Moselle Wine Festival until 9 July. As well as music, wine and delicious food, visitors can also enjoy trips on a replica Roman wine ship.
