On 7 July 2012, night will become day along the stretch of the romantic Rhine between Rüdesheim and Bingen. The skies will be lit up by a fantastic pyrotechnic display at the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Middle Rhine Valley, bathing the castles, vineyards and riverboats in a magical glow. For 33 years now, visitors from around the world have been coming to watch the Rhine in Flames fireworks from the waterside or travel on one of the 50 illuminated riverboats.
