Sightseeing tours of Lake Constance on the HELIO solar-powered boat are operating until September 2012 from Radolfzell. The HELIO, the lake’s largest solar-powered boat, draws the energy for both its electric motors from solar panels on the roof. As well as ferrying locals, tourists, business travellers and visitors to the spa towns, this eco-friendly vessel is also used for educational trips and events.
