Opened on 2 May 1909 as a classic grand hotel for the first-class passengers of famous luxury liners, the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski is more than just a hotel.

The history and guest list of this legendary Hamburg establishment reflect its links to the Hanseatic city's social scene. Today, the magnificent white building is one of the best-known landmarks in Hamburg. The most extensive restoration in the history of this grand hotel, now more than 100 years old, began in early 2010.

All 245 rooms, which include 33 deluxe suites, have been fully restored, renovated and redesigned. But as you would expect, every effort was made to retain the elegant grand hotel style. No less exclusive are the 13 meeting and function rooms (18 to 380m²), which together can accommodate up to 1,200 people.
