The 170km German Fen Route passes through the scenic East Frisian countryside and is ideal for long-distance cycling tours. To mark its 20th anniversary, there will be guided electric bike tours, an anniversary tour pass and a host of events. A highlight of the anniversary year is the celebration on 1 May at the Pünte, the last remaining hand-operated ferry in Europe.
