Dreamliner links Japan with Germany

Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) has launched a non-stop service between Tokyo and Frankfurt on the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner. At Tokyo's Haneda airport, Peter Blumenstengel, head of the German National Tourist Board's foreign representative office in Japan, expressed his delight at the opening of this connection with Frankfurt.

Travel times from Japan to Germany are now 90 minutes shorter thanks to this new scheduled service. And from June 2012, when direct flights to Düsseldorf commence, Japan will be linked by air with four cities in Germany.
