German Impressionism

The Jesuit Church Art Gallery in Aschaffenburg is displaying works by Lovis Corinth, Max Liebermann and Max Slevogt, the 'triumvirate of German Impressionism'. The exhibition entitled 'Reiselust und Sinnesfreude' (the pleasure of travelling and delights for the senses) runs until 9 April.

Besides art, the Franconian town has plenty to offer visitors, such as the old quarter, Johannisburg Palace and the many wine taverns in the Franconian wine-growing region. You can also explore the area around Aschaffenburg on the Spessart Hills Trail 1.
