Hornbach Abbey is situated in the Palatinate wine region near Germany's border with France. Built in the 8th century, the Benedictine abbey now serves as a hotel and is known far and wide for its gourmet restaurant, Refugium. On 10 March, head chef Martin Opitz is once again hosting a cookery course in the abbey kitchen. After the course, participants can look forward to tasting the four-course gourmet menu they have prepared, together with specially selected wines, in the special ambience of the former abbey.
