Air Berlin joins Oneworld

20 March 2012 is a significant day for Air Berlin, Germany's second-largest airline, as it becomes part of the Oneworld alliance. The global aviation group was established in 1999, with British Airways and American Airlines among its founding members.

The addition of Air Berlin will make travel to Germany for international visitors even easier and more convenient thanks to a greater choice of routes and improved coordination of connecting flights.
