'ManMicrobe' exhibition in Lübeck

Lübeck has been named city of science for 2012, and as part of the special programme of events and activities for the year, Lübeck University is hosting the MenschMikrobe exhibition until 6 June 2012. This interactive exhibition by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) takes a fascinating look at the relationship between humans and bacteria and viruses. At ten themed stations, visitors of all ages can learn which microbes are harmless or even beneficial for humans, and why some cause illness.
