Langeoog Island goes fairtrade

On 11 April 2012, the North Sea island of Langeoog in the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea is being officially named as Germany's first Fairtrade island by the Fairtrade Deutschland association. This is of course being celebrated in fitting style, and afterwards there will be a fairtrade festival at the Beiboot function hall and 'One World Shop' at the island church. Visitors of all ages can look forward to numerous activities, a fairtrade coffee and cake buffet and information stands.
