UNESCO World Heritage Pile Dwellings

In June 2011, the prehistoric pile dwellings in the Alpine regions were awarded World Heritage status by UNESCO. The museum and prehistoric pile village in Unteruhldingen on Lake Constance shows finds from the newly christened World Heritage sites around the lake as well as an exhibition on mobility in the Stone Age. After looking round the exhibition, the whole family can have a go on the recently reopened Stone Age 'driving course'.
