Culturally minded visitors from all over the world will be flocking to Wiesbaden from 28 April to 31 May 2012 for the 116th International May Festival (Internationale Maifestspiele). Kirsten Harms – former director of the Deutsche Oper in Berlin – and her team are presenting a varied mix of inhouse productions and guest performances. Wagner's romantic opera 'Lohengrin' opens the festival.
