The 20th Moselle Wine Forum is taking place in Trier from 20 to 22 January 2012. The event at the Forum Baths, a former bathing complex from Roman times, is a showcase for over a hundred award-winning wine and sparkling sekt varieties from vineyards across the Moselle wine region. Riesling in all its varieties provides the main focus – but there is also an opportunity to sample award-winning red wines and first-class white wines such as elbling, müller-thurgau and pinot blanc. In addition to a wide range of wines from vineyards along the Moselle, Saar and Ruwer rivers, visitors can also look forward to culinary specialities from the region.
