25 March 2012 is the start of the season along the Southern Wine Route, perfectly timed for the first rays of spring sunshine. On this section of the German Wine Route, visitors can look forward to a programme of wine and culinary events in the Palatinate wine region. The beginning of the season also marks the opening of the Albersweiler circular walking trail, which documents the history of Albersweiler. And because all good things come in threes, this day is also the start of the walking season in the Palatinate.
