The Electoral Palace in Koblenz provides the historical setting for a wine tasting on 6 May 2012, which is being hosted by the best wineries in the six vineyard regions of Rhineland-Palatinate: Ahr, Middle Rhine, Moselle, Nahe, Palatinate and Rheinhessen. Wine at the Palace (Wein im Schloss) offers connoisseurs the chance to sample a number of top wines produced from different grape varieties and in different regions.
