66 Lakes Trail – a ring of lakes right round Berlin

The 66 Lakes Trail is a great way to discover Berlin's surrounding countryside of lakes and dense woodlands. The route leads through forests, heaths, swampland, riverside forests, meadows and fields.

Tip

Blankensee Manor Park
A village off the beaten track, regarded as one of the prettiest in Germany. An old manor house with its surrounding park, through which the river Nieplitz flows. Landscape gardener Lenné was among those who left his mark here, creating a delightful gem of a park.
