The Habichtswald Trail promises unforgettable walking through a unique landscape of mighty oaks, bizarre rock formations, unspoilt beech forests and bubbling brooks.


Tip: Hoher Dörnberg

On Hoher Dörnberg hill you’ll find Hessen’s largest juniper heath along with unique flora and rare orchids. The imposing basalt structures of the Helfensteine and Wichtelkirche rocks are witnesses to ancient history and form the sites of old legends.
