Lower Saxony Day 2013

Now in its 33rd year, Lower Saxony Day is a popular regional festival that showcases the impressive cultural diversity of the region and its residents. For the first time, Lower Saxony Day will be hosted simultaneously in three locations: Wöltingerode Abbey and the towns of Goslar and Vienenburg will be welcoming the festival's many guests between 30 August and 1 September 2013. Themed zones, a varied stage programme and exciting activity areas guarantee fun and festivities all round.

The town of Goslar – with its old quarter, the Mines of Rammelsberg and the Upper Harz Water Management System – is one of 38 UNESCO World Heritage sites in Germany.
