Muskau Palace in new splendour

UNESCO World Heritage Muskauer Park has been restored to former glory now that the reconstruction of the New Palace, which was burned down during the Second World War, is complete after 18 years of building work. This site spanning the German-Polish border offers an impressive combination of landscape design and magnificent architecture and invites visitors of every age to retrace the steps of Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau. A walk through the extensive parkland takes you on a journey back in time to the English regency gardens of the 19th century.

Don't forget – there are another 37 UNESCO World Heritage sites in Destination Germany just waiting to be discovered.
