Wagner in Saxony

To mark the Wagner anniversary year in 2013 Tourismus Marketing Gesellschaft Sachsen (TMGS) has launched an interactive app entitled 'WagnerSachsen'. Fans of Wagner and culturally minded visitors can use the app to follow in the footsteps of the great composer, who spent 36 years of his life in Saxony. It shows museums and memorial sites in Leipzig, Dresden, Chemnitz and Graupa as well as further reference points for Wagner's works. The app also features event listings and tips for tourists, providing a wealth of information on sites in Saxony associated with the life and legacy of Richard Wagner.
