Destination Germany is famous for its beautiful Christmas markets, which every year attract visitors from around the world in search of the ultimate festive experience.

The romantic Christmas market at Königstein Fortress near Dresden, Saxony, captures the true spirit of the season with its beautifully decorated stalls and local arts and handicrafts. For the first time, there is also an underground Christmas world in the casemates of the fortress. The Christmas market will be open on 15 & 16 December and 22 & 23 December 2012.
