Many ski areas in Germany are opening for the first time on 15 December 2012. Skiing enthusiasts can look forward to taking to the pistes and enjoying perfectly prepared, snow-covered slopes in Bad Hindelang, the Bavarian resort of Ruhpolding, on Mount Grosser Arber in the Bavarian Forest and on Mount Zugspitze, the highest ski area in Germany.
