Hanami, the traditional Japanese cherry blossom festival celebrating the start of spring, has taken place in Bad Langensalza every year since 2004. The event offers a taste of Japanese culture with concerts, workshops and typical food. The festival also sees the crowning of a sakura and a samurai who will represent Bad Langensalza and the Japanese Garden at various events in the year ahead.
