The Grüne Hölle (Green Hell) walking trail in the Eifel combines exercise, creativity and technology. While walking the trail, which is almost ten kilometres long and takes about four hours, you can use an iPod to listen to locals from the village of Bollendorf talking about the landscape and recounting stories of smugglers and witches. It's a great way for nature lovers to see the surrounding countryside in a completely new light.
