Until 6 May, there is even more reason to visit Schwerin, the regional capital of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, as the city hosts a programme of culturally and socially significant films at the filmkunstfest. The feature film and short film competition at the festival puts the focus on guest country Russia, with many of the entries screened in their original language with German subtitles.
