The 27th Schleswig-Holstein Gourmet Festival continues until 15 March 2014. Celebrated chefs from Europe will be making an appearance at a number of top restaurants in Germany's northernmost federal state and bringing international flair to the region's restaurant scene. The focus is mainly on using local produce such as beef, lamb, cabbage and, of course, freshly caught fish. Between now and March there are eight more dates on which you can spoil yourself with a beautifully balanced five-course meal. Sixteen Michelin-starred chefs will be weaving their culinary magic at the event. The La Belle Epoque restaurant, where Kevin Fehling is the chef, is a particular highlight with three Michelin stars.
