Time can go by in a flash, time can trickle by slowly. There are moments when we want to turn back time or stop the clock entirely so that we can spend longer on the enjoyable and important things in life. The phenomenon of time is the subject of 'ZEITich' – a fascinating temporary exhibition at the Mathematikum maths museum in Giessen. On until 2 March 2014, this entertaining and illuminating exhibition takes a look at the concept of time from a number of different angles, and presents some surprising facts as well.
The Mathematikum in Giessen is an interactive museum where even those who hate maths will have fun exploring the sciences. Where else can you stand inside a giant soap bubble, see double in the trick mirror and make balls float in the air as if by magic?
