Discover Bochum's glittering Christmas market on Dr.-Ruer-Platz square in the heart of the city. Santa Claus takes off when he hears the children calling him here. Then he and his reindeer hover over the Christmas market daily from 5pm – 7pm in his sleigh.
Experience the 15th century at the medieval market. Period dressed craftsmen, traders, minstrels and buffoons go about their colourful business around the Pauluskirche with an open fire and torches, at old-fashioned stalls accompanied by music just like in times past. Enjoy the smallest Ferris wheel in the world, cracking eggs, mouse roulette and archery.
