The Viniculture Museum in Stuttgart traces the history of winemaking from Roman times to the present day using historical exhibits.
Even the museum itself is a piece of vinicultural history: with its traditional timber-framed architecture, the Old Wine Press in the idyllic wine village of Uhlbach provides the perfect setting for this extensive exhibition on the culture of wine. The fascinating display also includes different drinking vessels spanning 2,000 years, as well as a cooper's workshop, historical wine presses and huge wooden barrels.
