Württemberg State Museum

The State Museum is situated in the very heart of Stuttgart in the Old Palace, the former residence of the dukes of Württemberg.

Württemberg State Museum – known for its outstanding exhibits and its prized collections from the fields of archaeology, art history, cultural history and folklore – is a treasure trove like no other. The children's museum 'Junges Schloss' (young palace) mounts interactive exhibitions that give fascinating insights into days gone by. Regularly changing exhibitions explore the major themes of the region's history.
