When Cats burst onto the scene as the first musical in Germany, nobody could have predicted how successful the genre would be. Today, more than 25 years later, Germany is the third-biggest market for musicals after the USA and the UK. Musicals and shows such as DISNEY'S THE LION KING, MAMMA MIA, SISTER ACT and Starlight Express are filling concert halls and theatres not just in Hamburg – Germany's capital of musicals – but throughout the country.

The cult film Rocky told the story of aspiring boxer Rocky Balboa and won three Oscars. Now Stage Entertainment brings this global smash-hit to the stage, together with co-producers Sylvester Stallone and Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko, combining all the punch of boxing with an unforgettable musical experience.

In 1992 millions of people in cinemas around the world laughed their hearts out watching Whoopi Goldberg and her nun sisters. In the musical version we again meet Deloris the nightclub singer, who is hiding in the convent from gangsters and making the convent walls shake with her nuns' choir. Their antics have audiences at the Stage Metronom Theatre at the CentrO Oberhausen in stitches.
