Situated in the district of Harburg just outside the city of Hamburg, the twelve-hectare Kiekeberg open-air museum features over 30 historical buildings. With their traditional interiors and gardens, the farmhouses, barns and outhouses create a realistic picture of the period from 1600 to the 1950s. Pommerian geese, Ramelsloh chickens and Bentheim Black Pied pigs are among the most popular residents here.
