The Wadden Sea is a unique coastal landscape that provides a habitat to a huge variety of flora and fauna. Every year, millions of migratory birds stop here to break up their long journey. Thanks to the constant rhythm of the tides, you can walk on the seabed at low-tide. In 2009 the Wadden Sea was made a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site.
