Wine fair in Bochum

North Rhine-Westphalia is famous for its beer, with a number of well-known brands brewed in the region. But German wines are also enjoying increasing popularity in this part of Germany. From 9 to 11 March 2012, vintners from the Ahr, Middle Rhine, Moselle, Nahe, Palatinate and Rheinhessen wine regions will be presenting their wines in the Ruhr region, at the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia. The fifth Rhineland-Palatinate Wine Fair at the Jahrhunderthalle in Bochum will show why experts are singing the praises of the 2011 vintage.
