The annual party that opens the VDP wine tasting season has become a cult event among connoisseurs. The VDP is the association of quality-certified German wine estates. On 17 May 2012, at Deidesheimer Hof on the Palatinate wine route, star chef Stefan Neugebauer will be conjuring culinary specialities – for example at the oyster bar – while the VDP vineyards present their top wines from the past year.
