Lufthansa’s service worldwide includes more than 5,350 frequencies a week worldwide to 205 destinations in 75 countries (as of: 02/2016). At the same time the route network is being constantly expanded and continually adjusted to meet passengers’ requirements.
The Lufthansa hubs in Frankfurt and Munich belong to the most important and punctual hubs in the whole of Europe. The Lufthansa Group’s fleet, one of the world’s largest and most modern group fleets, which is continually being modernised, includes around 600 aircraft of widely differing sizes. By 2025, 251 brand-new aircraft with more efficient fuel consumption and lower noise emissions will be brought into service. These will include 59 ultramodern Boeing 777-9X and Airbus A350-900 long-haul aircraft.
