Day 3: Saarlouis – Mettlach (21.8 miles/25 km) Today you will be cycling along the Saar and pass the famous Saar Bow until you reach Mettlach. Following the course of the Moselle, you will reach your destination Trier, Germany’s oldest city, in the Rhineland-Palatinate.
