Πανηγύρια στη Γερμανία

Από το καρναβάλι στο Ρήνο, τις υπαίθριες γιορτές, τα φεστιβάλ των πόλεων, τα παζάρια και τις γιορτές κρασιού, μέχρι τα δύο μεγαλύτερα πανηγύρια του κόσμου: Η Γερμανία προσφέρει μια τεράστια ποικιλία γιορταστικών εκδηλώσεων. Every year on 21 February, bonfires are lit all along Schleswig-Holstein'sNorth Sea coast. – on the mainland, the islands and the Hallig islets – to drive away the winter in accordance with an ancient Frisian custom. There's much singing, dancing and drinking, then once the fires have died down, everyone heads to the inns and taverns to celebrate with a meal of curly kale, which may not be an ancient custom – but is definitely warming and delicious!

More than four million people enjoy all the funfair entertainment and music, with dancing in the streets, excitement in the air and merriment in the beer tents and inns around Bremen's beautiful old quarter.

The stars of Bremerhaven Festival Week are ships from all corners of the globe – from motor boats to historical sailing vessels. Ship captains are on hand to take you aloft – and you'll hear a few entertaining sailor's yarns. Back on dry land, you can enjoy the biggest festivities on the North Sea coast with over 100 stalls around the Harbour Worlds complex. Bremerhaven's excellent international credentials will be on show at the Europadorf, where the city's twin towns will be presenting.
